About Us

Our Story

Steel River Fabrication Inc. is a father-and-son business based in Iroquois Falls, Ontario. We incorporated in February 2026 and are building this business from the ground up together.

Collin trained as a welder and has worked at Hammond Manufacturing, JTR, Kirkland Lake Gold, and Glencore, and now works at Agnico Eagle, bringing over 8 years of hands-on welding experience to every job. Gilles has 27 years in IT and business management and now runs the business side of things.

We’ve always been wrench turners — the kind of people who fix our own equipment when it breaks. We live just outside town on 80 acres, and that do-it-yourself mindset is a big part of why we started this business. We’re also avid outdoorsmen — hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and enjoying everything the north has to offer.

We recently added a Miller 220 AC/DC welder alongside our stick welder, and we’re continuing to grow — taking on general repairs and small fabrication jobs while we invest in more equipment and experience.
